his lovely Strumaria, universally acclaimed as the most beautiful in                         
the genus, has umbels of very showy pink flowers that are larger than other

Strumaria
Ammocharis is a small genus of five species in the Family Amaryllidacea, all from
sub-Saharan Africa.  The three species offered by Telos are all from the Cape region
of South Africa.  They can be winter growing or summer growing depending upon
their origin.  All must be kept dry while in dormancy.  SHIP YEAR ROUND
Strumaria is a  genus of small bulbs in the Family Amaryllidcaea  from southern Africa, mostly from the
western Cape Province, where they experience mild wet winters and dry summers.  They are closely related
to Hessea.  They make excellent container plants.  SHIP YEAR ROUND
