Crinum is a large genus of over 100 species, most of which hail from the subtropical and
tropical regions of the world. The South African species are extremely showy and
desirable. While most are not very hardy, some can be grown as garden plants in suitable

The only Crinum native to North America, this lovely species grows
in swampy areas in Florida and Texas. Narrow white petals with pink stamens.

The large umbels support as many as 15-20 individual flowers,
each flower up to 4" in length. The color is white to pale pink with
a deep pink stripe on the outside of each petal. Grows 24-36" tall.

A genus of about 20 species that are mostly from Southern Africa.
Included in this genus are some of the most magnificent of bulbs
with, in some cases, flowering umbels that can be as big as 24"
across! The bulbs we offer are not yet mature. They are suitable
for growing outdoors only in Zones 8-10; otherwise, they should
be grown in a greenhouse, in a deep pot or greenhouse bed. SHIPS

A very rare Brunsvigia from the eqastern portion of the Cape Province
of South Africa, where it receives summer rain. The large umbels are deep
scarlet.
A small genus of bulbs that is usually found in the summer rainfall regions of South Africa. The
flower is in the form of a dense umbel composed of many star-shaped flowers, and the leaves of
Boophones are also highly ornamental, being extremely glaucous and emerging from the bulb in a
beautiful spreading fan. The bulbs offered here are immature. SHIPS YEAR ROUND For a posting
